VINTAGE PIELS LIGHT LAGER BEER BORN BEFORE SIGN.
Piel's was originally founded in 1883 in Brooklyn, New York. After a long history they closed in 1973. The brand is now owned by Pabst. In 1955 the fictitious Piel's Bros owners Bert and Harry appeared as part of their clever advertising. (like Sesame Streets Bert and Ernie). I purchased a bunch of vintage N.Y. Piel's beer memorabilia from a retired collector. Trays, cans, bottles, coasters and lots of signs and lights. Please see other listings. This is a Born before Calendar.  Almost 60 years old. Starts with January 1, 1965. You Can Enjoy Piel's Honest Beer if you were born before this date in 1944. Looks like all 365 days are present. It is in excellent condition. Technically new and unused. Very minor signs of use. Not sure if the paper was always that color. What a great piece of the past. Lots of breweries made similar calendars. I have never seen one like this before.
