Vintage 1940-50s ACME Breweries Gold Label Beer Sign~S.F. L.A.~Bastian Brothers.
9" Tall by 7" Wide
T.O.C. Sign (Tin Over Cardboard) The entire front face is metal and there are tabs on the back that wrap around the original cardboard hanger.
The label on the back of the sign states:
"BASTIAN BROS. N.Y. CO.
ROCHESTER, N.Y.
MADE IN U.S.A."
On the bottom of the brass-gold frame section of the sign there is embossed lettering that states
"Acme breweries San Francisco Los Angeles"
1940's-1950's is an approximate date of production for the sign, yet the sign could be earlier as the company was founded in 1895 and ACME Brewery was founded in 1907.
The line running vertically on the top of the tin sign is not a crack. It is a scratch on the white and black paint. The base gold paint is uncovered by the scratch
The sign will be bubble wrapped and shipped in a box
