Description

The Turf-Tec Mascaro Profile Sampler is used to take a sizeable and undisturbed sample of soil with a depth of seven inches, three inches width and 1/2 inches thickness. It features a specially-designed hinge to open the blade and view the soil sample instantly. The innovative design not only keeps the blades from separating when inserted into the turf but also makes it easier to replace the sample after viewing.
The Turf-Tec Mascaro Profile Sampler features solid steel construction, a one-piece welded design for stability, zinc plating for rust proof protection, and nylon grip handles. The patented press close design allows for secure closure and easy open. When sampling, simply raise the profile sampler above the area to be tested and drive it into the soil, use the foot plate to insert it to the desired depth.
The Turf-Tec Mascaro Profile Sampler is available in different models with a short and long handle. It is suitable for golf greens, sports fields, landscape turf, agriculture, farming, and insect and layer analysis. By inspecting the layers or different soil horizons, it impedes infiltration and root growth which can be detrimental to turfgrass health. Made in the U.S.A. and backed by a 1-year limited warranty.
