Description

The Spectra Ranger 3XC Data Collector is a handheld surveying tool designed to gather accurate land data--including coordinates, distances, angles, and topographic elevations—even under the most extreme weather conditions. It has integrated Wi-Fi connectivity and Bluetooth technology with a working range of up to 30 feet to allow easy, wireless connection to compatible total stations and GNSS receivers. Featuring a GPS receiver with low battery consumption, a built-in accelerometer, and a compass, it enables quick, precise navigation and positioning.
This data collector by Spectra can run large and demanding applications with its high-speed 800 MHz processor and 256 MB RAM. It is equipped with 8GB of on-board memory for storing data and ensures hassle-free data sharing with its USB ports and high-capacity SD card slot. For maximum functionality, its WWAN (Wireless Wide-Area Network) capability permits sending of text messages and accessing the Internet via cellphone networks. It also includes a 5-megapixel camera with dual LED flash and geotagging for job site documentation.
The Spectra Ranger 3XC Data Collector is powered by Windows Mobile 6.5 Professional operating system and supports frequently used programs such as Internet Explorer, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Media Player, and Adobe Reader. It comes with a large, dual-layer touchscreen display and a full alphanumeric keypad for convenient interface. With a rechargeable Li-Ion battery, it offers 30 hours of continuous operation. It is rated IP67 for dust or water resistance and complies with MIL-STD-810G standards for drops, vibration, humidity and extreme temperatures making it a rugged, all-weather data collector.

Spectra Survey Pro GNSS shares nearly all the Survey Pro functions, and it provides the capability to collect data from RTK GNSS receivers – the most accurate worldwide GSP system there is, with centimeter-level accuracy. Survey Pro GNSS software is easy to use and has step-by-step features that reduce training and simplify setups. It provides error messages if anything goes wrong. All staking functions are supported in the GNSS module too.
