A Diaphragm Pump(also known as a Membrane Pump) is a positive displacement pump that uses a combination of the reciprocating action of a rubber, thermoplastic or teflon diaphragm and suitable valves on either side of the diaphragm(check valves, butterfly valves, flap valves or any other form of shut-off valves) to pump fluid. The listing is about air-operated double diaphragm pump QBY-15 72 GPM with 1 inch inlet and outlet. This pump has a block and body fabricated from polypropylene with a santoprene diaphragm and ball valve seat made from polypropylene. This powerful and efficient air operated diaphragm pump is perfect for all your needs in every industry!
Application:
The diaphragm pump with convenient operating are widely used in various industries, such as petrochemical, pharmaceutical, metallurgy, mining, construction, coating material, printing, paper making, water treatment and automotive, etc.
Working Principle:
In the pump two symmetrical working chamber are equipped with a diaphragm respectively, and the center link will be integrated into one. Compressed air from the pump inlet into the valve introduces compressed air into one of the chamber to promote movement of the diaphragm chamber through the valve body; while the other chamber emit gas. Once the end of the stroke is reached, the gas distribution mechanism automatically introduces compressed air into the other working chamber to push the diaphragm in the opposite direction, so that the two diaphragms move back and forth in unison.
