    Description

This 3.3 gram coin is made of .90 silver and was produced at the Mexico City mint around 1816, five years before the end of Spanish rule.  The obverse is a draped laureate bust of Ferdinand VII, king of the Spanish Empire at that time.  The reverse is a crowned Castile & Leon shield flanked by the Pillars of Hercules.  While the coin shows obvious signs of wear, it is scratch-free and appears to be in very fine condition.  Please look at the photos carefully - this is the actual coin you are bidding on.
